Hi Stewart:

My understanding was that Alex's comment was related to the default
assumptions that the javac compiler would make. In effect, legacy
applications being viewed as monolithic chucks that get deployed under a
single classloader in the same way they are treated today.  

Anyway, perhaps BJ will clarify what his concerns are based on the
current documentation and Jigsaw content.
