Sorry I'm running late getting through these.
I'm impressed with all of the hard work it must have taken
just finding the JLS, JVMS, and core API items that required changing!

A couple of general questions for now:

* What is your intent for resolving the embedded questions
in the classfile specs? -- mainly Pack200, limits on exported symbols.
Would it help to invite someone like Bill Pugh (who was on JSR200)
to become involved?

* It's nearly impossible to predict if any little mistakes or
unforeseen consequences crept in to resolution, class loading, etc
specs. Which makes testing (TCK tests and others) soon a high
priority, before these get baked in. What are your plans?
