Experts,

Alex and I have written a strawman proposal that addresses the issue of
information hiding described in the JSR submission by introducing a new
entity called "superpackage." The idea will be familiar to some of you as
it was first formulated last year by Gilad Bracha and Michal Cierniak as
an adjunct to the JSR 277 work. The document also restates the problem we
want to solve and establishes some fundamental goals.

Clearly in the strawman many of the details are tentative or missing
completely, but we believe this proposal can serve as the basis for the EG
work. Assuming of course we can all agree on this direction.

That is why we are very much interested in hearing your opinions about
this draft. Let us know what works and what is missing or unclear.
