The MVM has just been released!

Well--sort of.  I'm sure there should be all sorts of qualifiers like
"preliminary" and "draft" included before the release, but the linked blog
didn't provide any such wiggle words and I don't want to put words in
anybody's mouth.

The link given in the blog doesn't work right now (unless your java.net
accounts has special access rights to the MVM project), but I'm sure that's
an oversight that will soon be corrected.
